Testosterone Dual Action is a compounded intramuscular injection that combines two commonly prescribed testosterone esters: cypionate and enanthate. This combination is designed to offer the immediate benefits of enanthate with the steady, sustained hormone levels supported by cypionate.
Why we include anastrozole
This treatment protocol includes an additional prescription for anastrozole to provide a more holistic, complete approach to hormone support, so you get the best results possible. As testosterone rises, some can convert into estrogen. Anastrozole helps keep estrogen in a healthy range, reducing the risk of side effects like water retention, mood swings, and gynecomastia.
Taking Testosterone Dual Action
How it works
The testosterone esters are absorbed at different rates. Enanthate begins acting relatively quickly—often within a few days—while cypionate provides a more gradual, sustained release over time. Together, they mimic the body’s natural testosterone rhythm more effectively than a single ester alone.
Anastrozole is an aromatase inhibitor that reduces the body’s conversion of testosterone to estrogen, which can sometimes increase as a result of elevated testosterone levels. We add it to this treatment protocol to help keep hormone levels balanced, minimizing potential side effects like water retention or mood swings, and providing a more comprehensive approach to testosterone therapy.
What to expect
Most men start to notice improvements in energy, mood, and sex drive within as little as 1–2 weeks. Physical changes like improved strength and lean mass can take a bit longer, typically 4–6 weeks or more. Full results often build gradually over a few months with consistent use.
Side effects
Some users may experience oily skin, water retention, or mood fluctuations, often during the early adjustment phase. Some men may experience increased estrogen and associated symptoms, though this is mediated by our inclusion of anastrozole in the treatment program.
